@MattSwiftActor Haha when I picked him up for that first shoot he was looking absolutely ridiculous. But you can barely tell on screen!

  • Joose
In Summer 2011 we produced 'Joose', a skate documentary crewed by, and starring, the young people of Buckie.

The film has achieved over 2000 views across multiple online formats and was announced as the winner of the Ken Loach Between The Lines Filmmaking Challenge in November 2011.

We follow Gary, Dylan and Robbie as they consider their lives in the close-knit community and what really matters to them.

  • Inside Industry
Working with the team from Inside Industry, we are currently producing an online library of careers videos targeting school and college leavers.

Our brief was to produce videos which speak to young people on their own terms and provide a genuine insight into the start of your working life.

We chose to shoot handheld and direct-to-camera to increase the immediacy and personal engagement across the videos and added tracking movement to our location footage to really boost the production value.

We are continuing to work with Inside Industry throughout 2012 and look forward to their launch.

  • Always Arriving
In Autumn 2011 we were commissioned to produce an investigative documentary influenced by the shocking number of young driving deaths in the Highlands of Scotland.

Working closely with contributors Diane and Graham Matheson and David Stewart MSP we developed an emotionally resonant film which provides a calm and sensible counterpoint to existing shock tactics.

The film screened in VUE Cinema Inverness in November 2011 and will be seen in over 200 schools around Scotland.

  • Tumult - 2nd AD
Through late 2010 and early 2011 we worked on an ambitious short film created by writer/director Johnny Barrington and Young Films.

Our responsibility as 2nd AD was liaising between the production and direction teams and management of the supporting cast.

An epic but darkly comic tale, the film was recently accepted in to the Sundance Film Festival 2012!

  • Shelter
Working with the Digital and Project Management teams at Shelter Scotland, our brief was to produce a short documentary to capture the legacy of the Keys to the Future project.

We tailored our production towards both event screening and online viewing environments with an 8 minute narrated documentary, also viewable as 3 x 2.5 minute mini-docs.

The film was screened at The Scottish Parliament in March 2011 and is the cornerstone of Shelter's Homeless Children campaign.
